Oriental Inspirations
For this week we will be using a lovely selection of oriental stamps and (if they arrive in time) a lovely cherry blossom die.
Now, for this challenge I ask you to take a look through your crafty stash and pick out some products that you perhaps haven't used for some time and bring them with you. It could be embossing powders(course thick embossing powders are good too), mica powders, mica paints, alcohol inks, guilding flakes, chalks, Tulip 3D paint, glossy accents liquid, fabric ink....
.....and have a think of how you may like to use them eg....on vellum, acetate, fabric, wood, tissue paper, card, metal etc and bring these with you to.
The stamps we will be using make great feature pieces for projects and are a great starting point but also good for encouraging us to use those bits we have forgotten about.
Don't forget to bring anything you have that may have an oriental feel...stamps, dies etc.if you want to.
For this week I want you to come up with your own design...I will of course be on hand to guide you so don't panic!...and I have a few ideas too. It doesn't have to be too complicated you can just do some stamping if you wish.
See you in the week.
