Craft Clubbers Gallery

On this cold snowy "mid March" morning (I know cold, snowy, windy mid March....can you believe it!) ...I thought it would be a good opportunity to post a few of our lovely Craft Club ladies projects for you to take a look at.  Most have evolved from the Challenges and I am sure you will agree they really are beautiful.
(Click once to enlarge)

The above 2 were made by Jan Britton...the red black and white card is so striking and the beautifully covered gift box is a wow...would love to receive a gift in such a gorgeous box.
Love the rubber band printed and embossed background created by Wendy Harding, so creative!

The card above was created by Jackie Webb...loving the shabby chic flower mde without the use of any dies and simply hand cut and sculptured.

Lovely card above...made during a craft club session... by Dolly who is 85 year old! ...she created the flower completely by herself and just had a little assistance measuring and cutting the checked panel....lovely!
Another great Note Book made by Maureen Weeks, very vintage in look with layers and distress inking.

Will be popping a few more names on but just need to check I have got them correct.

Craft Clubbers Gallery - shabby flowers

Just thought I would post a photo of some of the flowers made by the girls in this mornings craft club.....I know they wont mind me saying but they are all fairly new to card making and were really impressed at the results especially as they were made from white printer paper!

Other Craft club sessions to come so will up-date here if we have some more unusual flowers during the week and hope to get some more photos of paper feathers too.

Craft Clubbers Projects

Now that my photos are all sorted on the laptop I have found another couple of lovely projects which were made by Jan from our Craft Club.  One of these was based on a card I created some time ago where the photo on the blog provided the idea and inspiration and a visual guidance re the design .  Here is the link for the original card:     Blog link for original card

Lovely cards Jan which re also great designs for a valentines card.

Sign up to either facebook or twitter (see tabs on right side bar) to follow lots of every day chit chat and whats happening in my crafting world.

Morning All!

Just thought I would catch up with you all on this snowy chilly Monday morning...Working in the craft room today, still tidying and re-organising the studio and hopefully it will be sparkling when we start the Craft Clubs again which is the week commencing 28th January 2013 so very much looking forward to seeing you all again.  Also another reminder that the Craft Coffee Morning is on Monday 4th February 2013 .  (see the tab for full details).

All my craft photos are now sorted on the laptop and I am up-loading some of your projects to share.  Here are some of Jane Tylers beautiful stained glass stepping stones, a very talented artisan who has come to the craft club for about 4 years now.  She is passionate about Tiffany Stained Glass and also is an exquisite cross stitcher.

Lovely work and I will post more photos on stained glass in the future.

Crafters' Gallery

I love this bit.....sharing finished craft projects from our lovely craft clubbers. The first batch of photos, the  Rag Wreaths have been made for the St Andrews Church Christmas Fair in Ashingdon on Saturday 24th November 2012. I am sure they will be snapped up. Thank you to Maureen and Jan from the Tuesday morning sessions for letting me share these photos with you.  I hope to be at the fair to help the ladies with their fundraising.

This next photo is from Jan from Friday mornings session and I was delighted to hear from Jan that she stamped and embossed the silver design on the red card ....brilliant....I thought she had used foiled card. This is a great use for the Scollap Bunting dies from X-cut.

I have to admit to having a disastrous week last week...my poor father in law was poorly, the dog was at deaths door at the vets and a few other things popped up along the way to create a very stressful week.  But it all turned out ok in the end and I finished the week with a great birthday on Saturday and now feel a bit more chilled out.  I am sorry to say that last weeks challenge was not quite finished and I will catch up with this this week and will up-date the photo shortly.
