Delicate Lace....

After yet another really busy week last week I am so pleased to get the beautiful Chocolate Baroque Lace Fragments rubber stamps into our library for you to use each week and thought that this week would be a great place to start showing how wonderful they are.

Here is a quick peek at what you can come up with ....a simple piece of white card transformed with inks, masks and these lovely stamps...

You will notice I have also used the mannequin stamp from the " from Paris with love" stamp set designed by Jennifer Ellory.  I will be using more from both of these sets and also playing with the Inkadinkadoo Stamp Gear System in conjunction with the lace.

If you want to create a similar project you will need to bring with you
  • White or cream card stock...smooth plus your greeting card.
  • Some coloured inks (I have used a die based ink from Momento for the card above, but distress inks or pigment inks will be fine....If you have a clear ink and clear embossing powder bring them with you....although the main panel on the card looks like layered pieces of card it is in fact just one piece of flat card.
  • bring with you any embossing powders you have.
  • Complimentary card of paper for 3D flowers.
  • Ribbons,trimmings and gems.
  • A Stick it/post it notepad if you have one.
More samples to follow shortly.

Craft Clubbers Projects

Now that my photos are all sorted on the laptop I have found another couple of lovely projects which were made by Jan from our Craft Club.  One of these was based on a card I created some time ago where the photo on the blog provided the idea and inspiration and a visual guidance re the design .  Here is the link for the original card:     Blog link for original card

A card for a Special Friend

I have a very dear friend whose birthday is just after Christmas and so I understand how important it is to make her Birthday very special, which stands apart from the Christmas celebrations.  This is the card I sent her and the best reward for making hand crafted cards are the reflex reactions that tell you how much it was appreciated.  Priceless!
