Craft Club Challenge 29th March 2012

Hello again.

Another crafting challenge, which I know is a day late, but my lovely hubby is off work this week and a picnic down the river on a beautiful day  got the better of me!  Here's our challenge for this week:

The Chipboard Challenge

Criteria:

Create a craft project or card and incorporate the following:

  • Chipboard, greyboard, or mountboard....paint and stamp or ink and stamp or cover with decorative paper or fabric.
  • Include fabric in the challenge in some way.
  • Add an old fashion paper doily...leave it plain or ink to create some colour.
  • Include gems and a mini envelope.

I found some lovely fabric with beautiful printed cake panels.   Hmmmn just gorgeous!  ...in fact there is another cake inspired creation....the flutted flowers...these are made from pretty small cupcake cases topped with yoyo puffs or some of you may know them as Suffolk puffs and centred with a brad.

TOP TIP!   Pinflair Bookbinding Glue is the best glue to attach the fabric but any PVA will do the job ...but not too much.   I have found that the Bookbinding glue dries out in the plastic tub as it has a very low water content so it is best to decant it into a small glass jar with a good tight lid....I have used those mini jam jars which seem to do the trick!

Have a great day crafting.
