Craft Club Challenge - 9th July 2012

"All things Metallic!"

I love that metal feel and the challenge of searching and finding those unusual techniques that fit the criteria.

Criteria:

Find and use a selection of 5 different techniques or uses for metal or metallic finishes in your projects. These could be metallic paint, thin flat metal embossed, metal objects recycled and used on the project, metallic rub on waxes, metallic rob on foils, metallic finish card stock, metalic leaf.

I will be demonstrating with the lovely IndigoBlu Rubber stamp set "Wild Meadow" and the  Mega Flakes...Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire Rose...so don't miss out!

Here are my Samples demonstrated at the Craft Club: (click once to enlarge)

The above photos shows some techniques(clockwise from top right: Metal sheet die cut and embossed, Creative panel made with kitchen foil, shell guilded with Rub N Buff, Foil card cut and tinted with alcohol inks, kitchen foil panel and in the centre metalic leaf Mega Flakes attached to a die cut shape.

I love these cards made with the IndigoBlu "wild meadow" stamps
The Lilac foiled flowers are created from a Kitchen foiled Panel tinted with alcohol inks.
The silver foil on the above card is delicately placed using the Sekura Quicki Glue pen and transfer foiling.

Watch out for these cards which will be displayed in the Art Shop Rayleigh soon!
