Continuing with our theme for Christmas this weeks challenge is to create gift tags ready for your presents.
Criteria:
- Decorate plain tags which can be purchased from Stationers or craft stores or create your own.
- Use any method to decorate, decorative paper, inks, die cut shapes you can even used recycled pieces from last years Christmas cards. Your tags can be traditional tag shapes, circular, christmas tree shaped...the choice is yours.
- Again, try to use a craft item which has been sitting in your stash and hasn't be used for a long time, could be a stamp, ink, embossing powder, a stencil etc.

This tag was created from the X-Cut Large Bird Cage die which was cut down to a tag size and then mounted onto cream background card with the surplus cut off. The green card was a bright lime green but was toned down using the Distress Ink " Forest Moss" then stamped with a beautiful pine cone design. I was lucky enough to snap up a bargain at Pinnacle Crafts the other day and was able to use the Cuttlebug pumpkin die I purchased to give me the lovely leaves.More photos below. ( Sorry it took a little while... ourl little Beagle, Millie, hasn't been well again and we were back up the vets!)
This bauble tag is in fact the Xcut Round Bird Cage large Die which has been snipped at the bottom to create this lovely tag...I have used the negative pieces in red and pieced them into the spaces on the white die cut....there is an easy method to do this which I will show at the club this week. If you haven't got this die used this as inspiration and cut a round shape and overlay with strips on red card cut in shapes as detailed above.
These two tags were easy to create with Distress inks and the Papermania stamps
There will be lots of the Christmas stamps and stencils still out from last week so if you just want to carry on where you left off last week then that's great. Plus we have another new die set for you to use each week as pictured below. This lovely shape works really well with the circle dies and I am looking forward to showing you how to get the best from it.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
