This is a technical challenge to show you how to use stamps and Nestability dies and make them fit...I will be demonstrating the "how to" technique at the Craft Club and will have some lovely stamps for you to try.
You will need:
- Smooth Card to stamp on.
- Nestability dies if you have any... the larger simpler shapes work best for beginners....circles, squares, ovals, tags (other makes of die can also be used)
- Small scissors or a craft knife
- Masking tape (I have some at the studio)
- Black or dark coloured die based permanent ink such as Momento, Memories, Archival which will be used for stamping.
- Pro-markers, coloured pencils or water based felt tip pens (eg normal felt tipped pens) for colouring your image.
- Any other accessories to finish your card or project (eg base greeting card, ribbon, gems etc).
After a bit more tweeking and lots of things I shouldn't be doing today...finally I have finished!
Note the stamped image is larger than the hexagonal matt which was cut from a die but it is in fact all one piece of card and the die has cut around the main image...not chopping any bits off. Looking forward to demoing it this week.
