Craft Club Challenge - 22nd April 2013

This weeks demonstration at the Craft Club is set around using a display stand to make your work shine out and giving you confidence with rubber stamping, Letraset Promarkers and die cuts.  The hearts and buttons on the circular card have been printed using a similar method to the Inkadinkadoo Stamp Gear, which is on my wish list, but as I haven't got one just yet I have set up a method to allow you to create the same effects. (up-dated...23rd April....one of the girls has told me Inkadinkadoo Stamp Gear are on Create and Craft this week..lol..totally a fluke ....I must have a crystal ball as this was planned some time ago and I always let you know what we are doing for the next week) I must do the lottery!!!

I will be creating some more designs and will post them on here shortly and we will be using the main stamp in the photo plus 2 other rubber stamps which are stunning...a beautiful basque and a lovely handbag.

You will need:
  • Base card stock (I have used x 1 A4 sheet of  lilac pearl to create all the elements in the photo)
  •  I have already die cut the filigree part of the stand for you to use on your card.
  • contrasting card for matting and layering ...I have used silver mirri card.
  • smooth card for stamping onto either smooth white or cream.
  • If you have your own pro markers you may bring them but I have mine here for you to use.
  • Accents to finish the card such as gems, ribbon, buttons (the basque is beautiful if laced up with ribbon.)
  • Double sided tape and pva glue
  • I will have the flower punches which I have used available but you are welcome to bring your own dies etc if you would like to add your own floral/border details.
  • If you have circle cutters such as Xcut you may like to bring them....but as you know I have my trusty old cutters and blades here for you to use.
Have a great week and looking forward to seeing you all.   Oh, I nearly forgot....we have some lovely new dies going into our stash this week ....I will make a separate post to let you know for what's new.
