This weeks challenge for Craft Club members is another arty, crafty play session using some great equipment brought in especially for this session. We will be using the following Stencils, stamps, dies:
We'll have great fun with these and I would suggest you bring the following to the club if you are paper crafting:
- Base Greeting card or A4 card, smooth card stock for printing and inking techniques with stencils (box board is great if you have any....I have some here if you need it) Mirri card or gold/silver for some of the die cutting shapes such as the scissors, pins, needles etc
- Co-ordination printed paper for use with the hexagon die etc
- Pigment inks, emboss powders (plus clear if you have it), pan pastels, cosmic shimmer spray misters or similar, metallic leaf foiling (plus glue), alcohol inks .....all these can be used if you have them. I will also be using distress inks again but we have some here or you can bring your own.
Here is a very simple card which just uses the hexagon die and the needle and thread die....more photos will follow during the week.
The above card has been created using a hand inked background with the spiral stencil, hessian stamp, cross stitch die and patchwork die....click once to enlarge. I will be adding faux stitching with a pen between the hexagon shapes.
I hope you are enjoying this fantastic weather and look forward to another creative week.
