Craft Club Challenge 27 Feb 12

I have for you a CC (Craft Club) Challenge.  All my challenges have certain criteria and these are designed to get you using materials and equipment that perhaps you haven't used for a while. Hope you have fun with it and leave lots of comments so we can all pop in and see your finished designs.

Create a card in 30 seconds!

No it's not what it sounds....I really want to get you to create toppers in preparation for those quick "put together" cards or projects that had to be done yesterday!

Your criteria:

To create your topper you must include:
  •          Text/Sentiment as your central theme.
  •          Floral display
  •          The Theme is "Spring" (think colours, accents, special dates eg Easter)
  •          Ribbon
  •          Glitter
The topper can be any size, any shape but must be able to assemble a card in 30 seconds! (store finished toppers in polly bags and you can pop in any additional matching accents to help assemble a quick card.

Have fun!

This are my finished toppers:

I have placed this on a white square card at an angle but this topper can now go on any card (Easel, Centre Stepper, Larger size card, shaped card.) The 3D roses were stamped from plain card & created by hand with decorative scissors the rossete flower was also created by hand (no dies/cutters)  Notice the large roses were sprayed using a glitter spray.

I love to add sticthed detail as it gives a real homespun feel! The mini rose is so cute!

I have used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to put soft shading around the oval and have included some additional circles to complimenta a card design for later use.  The sentiment and circle flourish were stamped and embossed with gold ink and powder. I love these pretty flowers created from a die and layered up.  Adding glitter faux stitching finishes it off perfectly as does the organza bow and wired charm.

These toppers will be stored in Poly bags ready for the 30 second create a card Challenge!  Stop watches ready!

Hope you have a great time creating this challenge and do as many as you want.  Its always great to be organised and you are welcome to copy my layouts and designs. Looking forward to seeing your lovely toppers.

Add your comments and I will take a look.
