Craft Club Challenge - 7th May 2012

A Recipe for a Country Kitchen!

Another week, another challenge. This weeks challenge was inspired by an article I read in a magazine recently.  It was a great nostalgic read, showing how easy it is to gift a recipe to a friend or relative and how that recipe becomes part of a love of food and life.  In our busy lives cooking sometimes becomes such a chore and recipes, especially old family favourites, become unused and unloved!

For this week I would love you to create a card or project including the following criteria:-

  • A recipe/recipes
  • Ribbon
  • Kitchen style features such as an apron, notice board, a dresser, a black board, a tea cup, a table or anything you associate with a country kitchen...
  • A pocket or a mini envelope
  • A wire spring to give a 3D effect  that can be flattened to put into an envelope.
Your choice of colour and style....I will have some gingham papers here to help you if needed as well as a new border die to be added into our stash to use on a weekly basis....and also some lovely stamps.

I really enjoyed making this card:

Have Fun and happy crafting.
