Another week...another challenge!
Envelope Bag
What is that I hear you ask...is it a bag or an envelope....well, it is in fact both! A gift bag created from an envelope. You can use any sized envelope in any colour, envelopes with the triangular flap and also top loaders...even some used envelopes will do the job. (Recycling at its best!)
Criteria:
Create a gift bag using any envelope. Decorate the front and back panels (especially the panel that shows the envelope flap. Instrcuctions were given to create the bag at the Craft Club but if you are local and want to come along and learn then give me a call. This challenge can be any style/colour.

Note how I have used the technique of spirelli (using thread) to create a decorative focal point on each bag. A quick and easy topper which is very effective. The tops of the bags can be fastened using the ribbons as I have done or folded over and fastened using a wire clip or a decorated peg.
I always enjoy making gift bags and they are always at hand for a little last minute gift to put a smile on someones face.
