Craft Club Challenge - 22nd November 2012

A Calender Creation

This is another little gift which I created to give to my daughter for christmas...I love this photo of her and printed it with a pale blue tint.   This simple free standing calender is a lovely way to display photos, saying and quotes.  (I am just popping out now to get some of the calender tabs and will up-date the photo shortly)

I have used x 2 peices of A4 card (fairly thick to allow it to stand up) with some printed papers and embellishments.  The 3D flowers are created from a Spellbinder flower die which will be here to use at the Craft Club this week.

The brown calender was quick and easy when time is short...the Die cut scroll adds immediate embellishment without the hard work and the die cut frame is all that is needed to house the calender.  More time can be used to add the creative aspects but as you know "quick and easy" is my motto at this time of year.

The Criteria for this challenge is:

  • Create a calender as a gift. It can be freestanding or wall hung.
  • It must include ribbons , buttons and something 3D
  • It must also include a circle on it somewhere.
I hope you enjoy creating yours as much as I did.

Have a great crafting week and I'll catch up with you soon.
