Craft Club Challenge - 6th August 2012

Christmas is just around the corner and summer hasn't really arrived yet....what a shame!  On a good note, that gives us loads of time to prepare for those special festivities in December.

This weeks challenge is called  "A Tree for Christmas"

Continuing with the Christmas theme this challenge is designed to give you a simple brief of creating a craft project with  "A Tree for Christmas" as the main theme.

It can be a card, a 3D project such as a christmas decoration for the Christmas Tree, a decoration as the centre piece to go on a table top, an advent callender, a christmas "jobs to do" notice board, Christmas Invitations...You can create a complete christmas tree or just the bough of a tree with decorations on.
This is the start of one of my 3D projects....as you know I just love the 3D paper roses and my tree will be a haze of wintry frost and chilled blooms...pop along to the craft club to see how its done.                                                  (Click once to enlarge photos)

Use any materials, any colour ( not just the traditional colours) I am looking forward to seeing who can come up with the most unusual colour theme.

I will be demonstating some lovely stamps this week at the craft club as well as another lovely die.  Bring lots of card/paper and try to get a plan of what you want to do before you come especially if you want to do a 3D project.
This is my wire frame for a rag tree....hope it will be beautiful and full of decorations.
Here are a couple of simple quick designs using the rubber stamps

I will add the photos of the blue pyramid tree and the wire tree as soon as they are complete.
