I am so excited about this one....I have decided to transfer my brass stencil collection from my personal equipment library into the Craft Club stash for you all to use any time you want. These stencils were bought some time ago and are worth over £200 (I will work out the value at some stage as I am sure it is going to shock me!) These stencils were originally for use with a light box and an embossing ball tool but with the development of the embossing machines you are now able to create beautiful designs at quick speed....I say this very tentatively as with regular use through the embossing machines they may buckle so I will be keeping a careful eye on them to make sure they are ok.
Here is a quick sample I rustled up this morning:
These were so quick and easy to do...and I know I say that a lot...but they really are, I promise!!!!
So if you fancy having a go at this weeks Craft Club you will need to bring:
- You base greeting card.
- lightweight card or thick paper with a subtle printed design and white core (that means if you tear it you will see a white torn edge.
- Small scissors, PVA glue and 3D foam pads
- Emery boards/nail file/sanding block.
- Plus any small accents such as buttons, beads, wire, gems, ribbon.
- for use with the cuttlebugs if you have a rubber emboss mat it would be great if you could bring it as I only have a few...if you want to use the light box bring your ball tools for embossing but I have a few light boxes already here.
See you all this week.
